FAQ

What do I need to run this theme?

How can I update the theme?

In version 3.2.3 and up:

  1. Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. Go to “Divi” -> “Divi Schema”.
  3. Then enter the purchase code (You can find the purchase code in the automatic E-Mail that you’ve got after you bought the theme).
  4. Then click the blue “Save” button.
  5. WordPress will automatically inform you about updates of the theme. You can then install them via the update-mechanism WordPress provides.

In older versions:

  1. Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. Go to “Appearance” -> “Customize”.
  3. In the left sidebar open the box where it says “Divi Schema”.
  4. Then enter the purchase code (You can find the purchase code in the automatic E-Mail that you’ve got after you bought the theme).
  5. Then click the blue “Save & Publish” button.
  6. WordPress will automatically inform you about updates of the theme. You can then install them via the update-mechanism WordPress provides.

Google Structured Data Test says that the publisher info is missing.

For this go to Appearance > Customize. Then switch to Site Identity > Site Icon and upload an image or your logo there. Once an image has been uploaded and your settings have been saved the publisher info will show up (including your websites title).

This is because Google needs an image for the publisher markup. Once the site icon has been uploaded it’s used for the publisher image.

How can I hide the site title?

The original Divi theme does not show the site title. Instead it only shows the logo. However we recommend showing the site title and the subtitle so that schema.org syntax can be added to it.

If you don’t like the site title to be shown, just follow the steps below:

  1. Log-in to your WordPress dashboard
  2. Go to Appearance > Customize.
  3. The click on “Divi Schema”.
  4. Check the checkbox where it says “Hide header title”.
  5. Save your changes by click “Save & Publish”.

How can I hide the breadcrumbs?

  1. Follow the steps from above.
  2. In the customizer check the checkbox where it says “Hide breadcrumbs”.

Can I deactivate schema.org on WooCommerce product pages?

Yes, since version 3.3.0 this is possible. Just to your WordPress dashboard > Divi > Divi Schema and uncheck the checkbox.
